Seeking a design engineer with diverse design for manufacturing experience. One who’s good with mechanisms, problem-solving, and has strong SolidWorks skills. They should be able to lead or work within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment, and should be Comfortable with projects that require innovation in design and process.
To qualify for a Design Engineer Position at WhiteBoard, You Must Possess:• The ability to lead or work within a collaborative and cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and model makers
• The ability to manage projects from concept through release for production with consideration for timeline and budget
• Exceptional 3D CAD skills – SolidWorks Proficiency
• An understanding of materials, Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Prototyping
• The ability to create mechanisms and verification prototypes
• The ability to communicate ideas through verbal and 2D sketching skills
Beneficial Skills:
• FEA experience
• Experience with working with agency requirements
• ME DegreeBasic Understanding of electronics
• IT experience
