What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales position at White Tail Automation?
The Business Development Representative will focus on building relationships and generating sales by meeting with customers and clients face-to-face, in the field as well as in a corporate setting. This will require travel mainly focusing on the Texas and New Mexico. The focus will be selling Instrumentation and Electrical products with established and new distribution lines.

What you will be Doing:
- Building Relationships: Outside sales reps prioritize establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both current and potential customers.
- Generating Leads: They actively seek out new business opportunities and prospects.
- Presenting Products/Services: They educate customers about products or services, often through demonstrations or presentations.
- Negotiating and Closing Deals: They negotiate terms and conditions and work towards closing sales.
- Customer Focus: Prioritizing customer needs and providing excellent service is paramount.
- Attend training sessions on different products
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Outside sales experience
- A background in Electrical, Automation and/or Instrumentation would be preferred.
- An experienced tradesperson or someone with degree or diploma in Business or technical diploma or experience will be considered an advantage in obtaining this position.
- Good computer skills with experience preparing quotes.
- Ability to work independently and be responsible for ensuring sales routes are followed.
- Must be able to manage time effectively, travel to meet clients, and work around customer schedules.
- Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Understanding sales strategies, techniques, and industry trends is crucial.
- A clean driving record will be required.
