Position Overview
At White Spur, our Front of the House team is the face of the guest experience. FOH team members are responsible for creating a welcoming, memorable, and high-quality dining and social environment. This role blends hospitality, efficiency, and personality—ensuring every guest feels like they’ve found El Paso’s best hangout spot.
Food Runner
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with attention to presentation.
- Verify orders before leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain efficient service flow.
- Assist with table maintenance by clearing finished plates and responding to guest needs when appropriate.
- Ensure food is delivered at the proper temperature while upholding White Spur's quality standards.
Barback
- Keep the bar fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other essential supplies.
- Support bartenders by preparing garnishes, replenishing inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Remove used glassware, empty trash, and sanitize bar areas throughout service.
- Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties to ensure the bar is ready for each shift.
- Work closely with bartenders to maintain fast, efficient service during high-volume periods.
Drink Runner
- Deliver beverages from the bar to guests quickly and accurately.
- Assist bartenders and servers in maintaining smooth service during peak times.
Busser
- Clear and reset tables promptly to keep the dining area inviting.
- Support servers by refilling water, delivering bread or condiments, and maintaining cleanliness.
