Under supervision from the Controller, responsible for general accounting functions for the Company.

Normal professional office setting. Occasional evening and/or weekend work. (less than 5%)
Typical Physical Needs
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. May need to climb stairs and lift objects up to 30 lbs.

Essential Functions
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and other financial reports.
- Assist accounting team in annual audits and other corporate compliance for all operating entities.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable process.
- Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Review subcontractor commitment ledgers and other job-related records for anomalous data and work with project teams to resolve issues.
- Work with Corporate Financial team to compile overhead budgets
- Perform other related duties as needed

Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field required
- Minimum two years experience in accounting, ideally in a construction environment
- Ability to manage multiple activities, meet multiple deadlines, maintain focus and organization, and network with staff and management required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Windows, MS Word and Intermediate MS Excel Skills required.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
