White Spruce Medical is a local Naturopathic clinic dedicated to helping both our patients and employees create and live a happy and healthy life from a holistic approach. We are currently looking for a dedicated, organized, friendly receptionist/medical assistant to join our small clinic and help make a huge impact in our community!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical facility.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate channels
- Schedule appointments for patients and manage the appointment calendar.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees.
- Maintain patient records and update any changes in personal information.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns
- Taking vitals for our Doctor, including blood pressure, temperature, weight, height, Oxygen levels and pulse.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at White Spruce Medical.
