Duties
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment on the assembly line to ensure efficient production flow
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical devices for assembly and maintenance tasks
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of machinery to maintain optimal operation
- Conduct inspections of products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications
- Use forklift and warehouse experience to move raw materials and finished goods safely within the facility
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement
Qualifications
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in assembly line operations
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical repairs
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions
- Basic problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 pounds as required
