Duties

• Prepare ingredients for baking and pastry production, including measuring, mixing, and portioning doughs, fillings, and toppings
• Package baked goods securely for retail display or catering orders while maintaining product integrity
• Support food production processes by following recipes accurately and adhering to food safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, including equipment sanitation and stock rotation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of pastries for service or events
• Handle food with proper hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pastry preparation, baking, or a related culinary role within the food industry
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety protocols
• Experience in cake decorating and packaging techniques preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
• Prior experience in catering or restaurant settings is a plus
