Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. The Reservation Agent will be responsible for managing guest inquiries, processing bookings, coordinating with property managers, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from reservation to arrival.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, online platforms (e.g. Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com), and live chat.
- Provide accurate information about rental properties, availability, rates, amenities, and local attractions.
- Process and confirm reservations, modifications, and cancellations in accordance with company policies.
- Update booking platforms and internal systems to reflect current availability and rates.
- Handle guest concerns or special requests professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate check-in/check-out instructions and communicate with on-site staff or property owners as needed.
- Follow up with guests pre-arrival and post-departure to ensure satisfaction and collect feedback.
- Maintain organized records of guest communication, payments, and documentation.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to promote special offers or manage overbookings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality, tourism, or business a plus.
- 1 years of experience in reservations, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with reservation systems, CRM software, and online booking platforms; experience with Streamline and Breezeway systems preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
