What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance position at White River Regional Housing Authority?
White River Regional Housing Authority (WRRHA) is seeking a part-time maintenance worker for its properties in the Bald Knob area. This individual will be assigned apartment maintenance duties under the direction of the Maintenance Team Leader and Site Manager, including general repairs and maintenance for minor electrical, plumbing, and heat and air equipment. Such activities may include unclogging drains, fixing leaks, repairing electrical switches, replacing plumbing and lighting fixtures, and other repairs as needed. Other duties could include grounds maintenance, wall repair, light carpentry, painting, and other activities as needed, including preventative maintenance, such as replacing air filters and cleaning gutters.
WRRHA staff work together to ensure the needs of our tenants are resolved quickly and effectively. We work together to prioritize work orders, including managing the timelines for unit turnovers. We also take whatever steps are necessary to ensure our resources, such as equipment and supplies are well-maintained and readily available for use when needed.
Interested applicants must have a strong work ethic, be able to start their work day on time, commit fully to their assigned schedule, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Assigned apartments are located in Bald Knob and Russell, AR.
This is a salaried part-time position of approximately 28 hours per week with holiday pay, as well as paid vacation and sick leave available after a 90-day probation.
