Looking for Recent High School Graduates!
Are you a recent high school graduate looking for a career in the skilled trades instead of sitting behind a desk or taking on years of college debt?
White River Plumbing is looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice who wants to learn a skilled trade, earn while they learn, and build a long-term career in plumbing.
You don't need years of plumbing experience. We'll teach you the trade.
What You'll Do
- Ride with and assist an experienced Journeyman Plumbing Technician.
- Learn residential plumbing diagnosis, repair, installation, and maintenance.
- Assist with water heaters, drains, sewer work, water lines, fixtures, and other plumbing services.
- Learn proper use and care of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Learn how to communicate professionally with customers.
- Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and Indiana plumbing codes.
- Take direction from experienced technicians and continuously improve your skills.

Paid Plumbing Schooling
White River Plumbing will pay for approved plumbing schooling to help you advance your career in the trade.
You'll get the opportunity to learn both in the field alongside an experienced Journeyman Technician and through formal plumbing education.
30-Day Evaluations & Pay Raises
Your performance will be evaluated every 30 days.
Evaluations will include:
- Attendance and punctuality
- Work ethic
- Attitude and professionalism
- Ability to learn
- Plumbing knowledge and skill development
- Following instructions
- Customer service
- Safety
- Care of company tools and equipment
Pay raises may be awarded based on performance and progress. Raises are not automatic and will be based on your overall performance and development.

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Hours vary
No nights or weekends unless desired.
