Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider with education and hands-on experience to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. We prefer a minimum of 5 Years of Experience or EDU 119 or the equivalent. Good work ethic is a must and be flexible in hours. - Provide attentive childcare for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Design and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development, including play-based learning and educational exercises
- Manage classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions between activities
- Apply classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and social skills among children
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to share progress updates and address individual needs or concerns
- Administer basic first aid when necessary, following safety protocols to handle minor injuries or health issues
- Support children with disabilities or special education needs by adapting activities and environments to accommodate their requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in daycare or classroom settings
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable
- Classroom experience managing young children’s behavior through positive reinforcement techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in early childhood education is a plus
- Familiarity with early childhood curriculum planning and implementation
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team dedicated to child well-being
