- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry treatments, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced medical imaging tools
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate healthcare diagnosis and dental terminology understanding, ensuring clear communication with patients about their care options
- Utilize dental office management software Dentrix to document medical records, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene in all procedures
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for medical documentation and record keeping
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience treating pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure compliance at all times
- Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology while maintaining patient-friendly explanations for diverse audiences
- Prior experience in infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a healthcare setting
