Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains.
- Conduct diesel engine repairs with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in troubleshooting complex issues.
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs needed on vehicles.
- Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as required for modern vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical documents, and service manuals.
- Experience with auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of ADAS technology is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required.
