Role Description
Step into the heart of a vibrant, first-class city and gain hands-on experience in economic and community development! We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Administrative & Program Assistant to join our team in White Plains, NY. Play a key role in bringing the city to life through unforgettable events like Rock the Block, our Jazz Festival, Oktoberfest, and more.
This is a temporary, hourly opportunity running from May through December 2026 (with possibility of becoming a full-time role). In this position, you won’t just support programs—you’ll help shape them. You’ll work closely with a collaborative, tight-knit team to coordinate exciting community initiatives, assist with event production and logistics, and keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to engage effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and member businesses
- Experience or knowledge in Program Management and Administrative Assistance functions
- Proficiency in conducting Research to support initiatives and developments
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, and other relevant administrative tools
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a hands-on, “get it done” approach.
- Experience in non-profit or business development settings is a plus
Hourly Rate Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
