What You'll Do
Specific duties vary by department, but every role at White Pass shares a few things in common. You'll be a visible part of the guest experience, working alongside a team to keep the mountain running safely and smoothly. You'll work outdoors or in a fast-paced indoor environment (or both), often in winter weather conditions, and you'll be counted on to show up ready for the day your team has ahead.
Required for all positions:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (some positions require 18 or 21 )
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (We do not currently sponsor any Visas)
- Reliable transportation to White Pass, or a plan for winter commuting
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods throughout the season
- A positive, guest-focused attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Helpful, but not required:
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, food service, or the ski industry
- Skiing or snowboarding ability (required for some positions, such as instructors and terrain park)
- Certifications relevant to your area of interest (food handler's permit, MAST, CPR/First Aid, PSIA/AASI, driver's license with clean record, etc.)
