Position Summary: White Pass Elementary School is seeking an Elementary Principal to lead our educational community. This full-time position requires a dynamic leader who will foster a positive learning environment, support staff, and engage with students and families. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and the holistic development of students while promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and vision for the school, ensuring a focus on student achievement and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the school community to develop and implement effective educational programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the school, including scheduling, discipline, and staff management.
  • Foster a positive school climate by promoting strong relationships among students, staff, and the community.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal education regulations and policies.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Administer district Pre School/ECEAP program in collaboration with Centralia College.
  • Engage with parents and community members to promote involvement and support for school initiatives.
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support at-risk students.
  • Manage school budgets and resources effectively to enhance educational programs.
  • Act as a liaison between the school and the district, representing the needs and interests of the Elementary school community.
  • Follow and implement district policies and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Develop master schedule to meet school, student and staff needs.
  • Supervise implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
  • Demonstrate ability and skill to successfully implement the building discipline matrix.
  • Observe and evaluate certificated staff performance, providing feedback and giving assistance as needed utilizing established District evaluation processes.

  • Other duties as assigned by the superintendent.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid administrative credential or certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational leadership or administration, preferably at the junior-senior high level.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of educators and support staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
  • Proficient in using technology for educational and administrative purposes.

Salary : $135,000 - $144,616
