Physician-Owned Urgent Care in Central North Carolina Looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner
Description:
- Two busy Urgent Cares are owned by a well-respected private family physician practice, which has been serving the community for over 45 years.
- Hours are Mon-Fri 8a-8p, Sat 9a-6p, Sun 10a-6p.
- Work 14 shifts per month, 2 weekends a month.

- Locations in Asheboro and Randleman, NC.

Asheboro, located in the center of North Carolina in the rolling hill of the NC Piedmont, offers:

- Within an hour of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, UNC Hospitals, and Duke University.
- The NC Mountains are two hours west.

Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and health promotion
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to medical standards
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)
- Proficient in medical record documentation
