Job Description:
- Provide
personal hygiene for residents by assisting with their basic needs, such
as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Adhere
to professional standards and facility policies and procedures regarding
resident care.
- Answer
calls for assistance and observe changes in a resident’s behavior,
emotional state, or physical condition and report any changes to Nurse.
- Implement
individualized care plans and offer support to residents to maintain their
dignity, privacy, and comfort.
- Provide
care that exceeds the resident’s physical, social and mental needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid
CNA License
- Valid
CPR Certification
- Excellent
verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent
attention to detail
- Ability
to carefully read and follow directions
- Good teamwork skills
- Ability
to lift and move patients
- Good
foundation of clinical skills and knowledge
Educational Requirements:
- High
School Diploma or GED equivalent
