- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and menu specifications
- Assist in assembling dishes during meal service, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations by following proper sanitation procedures and cleaning schedules throughout the shift
- Support the kitchen team with food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Follow recipe instructions precisely to ensure meal consistency and quality control
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service delivery
Experience
- Previous experience is highly desirable
- Food service or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques
- Skills in knife handling, slicing techniques, and general culinary skills are essential
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
- Qualifications: Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment in varying conditions
