Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Coral Springs, FL, for a General Superintendent. The General Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction on multiple projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Primary responsibilities include supervising on-site operations, managing subcontractors, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. The role also involves regular site visits, monitoring materials and equipment, and promptly addressing any project challenges.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and leadership experience in construction, with the ability to lead teams and oversee multiple projects
- Proficiency in construction planning, cost management, and scheduling methodologies
- Familiarity with safety protocols, compliance standards, and building codes
- Experience in coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address onsite challenges efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to ensure high-quality construction within specified timelines and budgets
- Proficiency with construction management software is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily or commercial construction projects
