What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Massage Therapist position at White Mountain Holistic?
Job Overview
Licensed Massage Therapist
White Mountain Holistic | New Hampshire
Come do meaningful work. Be part of something that feels different.
About White Mountain Holistic
At White Mountain Holistic, we believe massage is more than a service. It is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the body, and create space for people to feel cared for in a world that rarely asks them to pause.
We are building a holistic wellness practice rooted in skilled bodywork, thoughtful care, and the belief that wellness should feel both accessible and deeply personal. Our approach blends therapeutic massage with a warm, welcoming atmosphere where clients are treated as whole people, not just appointments on a schedule.
We are looking for a licensed massage therapist who shares this philosophy — someone who loves their craft, values meaningful client relationships, and wants to practice in an environment where quality of care matters as much as the experience itself.
If you are a grounded, compassionate therapist who wants to do good work, continue growing, and be part of a supportive wellness community, we would love to meet you.
The Role
As a Massage Therapist at White Mountain Holistic, you will provide thoughtful, customized massage therapy tailored to each client’s needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
We value therapists who can balance clinical skill with intuition, professionalism with warmth, and therapeutic intention with the simple power of helping someone feel genuinely cared for.
What you’ll do:
- Provide professional, customized massage therapy sessions based on each client’s needs and goals.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment where clients feel comfortable and supported.
- Build meaningful client relationships through attentive listening, clear communication, and consistent care.
- Maintain accurate client notes, intake information, and treatment documentation.
- Uphold professional boundaries, ethical standards, confidentiality, and all applicable licensing requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, peaceful treatment space.
- Collaborate with the team to support a positive client experience and a cohesive wellness practice.
- Recommend appropriate self-care practices and follow-up sessions when aligned with client needs.
- Contribute to a culture that values learning, integrity, collaboration, and sustainable wellness.
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you are someone who:
- Holds a current New Hampshire massage therapist license in good standing.
- Has a genuine passion for massage therapy, bodywork, and holistic wellness.
- Is attentive, compassionate, dependable, and professional.
- Understands that excellent bodywork begins with listening.
- Can adapt techniques and pressure to meet individual client needs.
- Values client safety, consent, communication, and therapeutic boundaries.
- Takes pride in creating a thoughtful, elevated experience without making wellness feel intimidating or exclusive.
- Wants to contribute to a team while maintaining their own authentic style and strengths as a practitioner.
Experience is valued, but we also recognize that the right presence, work ethic, and commitment to quality care matter enormously.
What Makes White Mountain Holistic Different?
We want our therapists to feel good about the work they do and the environment in which they do it.
At WMH, we believe:
- Care should feel personal. Every client deserves to be met as an individual.
- Healing is not one-size-fits-all. We honor different bodies, needs, preferences, and paths to wellness.
- Quality matters more than rushing. We value thoughtful treatments and meaningful client experiences.
- Wellness includes the practitioner, too. Sustainable work matters, and we want to build a practice where therapists can grow without losing their connection to why they chose this profession.
- Community makes us stronger. We are building more than a schedule of appointments; we are cultivating a welcoming space for care, connection, and continued growth.
