Lead Construction Painter High-End Homes, Big Island

Location: WAIMEA, WAIKI'I AND WAIKOLOA

Schedule: Full-Time

Are you a detail-oriented painter who takes pride in doing things right the first time? Do you want steady, year-round work on beautiful custom homes without bouncing between jobs or crews?

We're a respected high-end residential builder and remodeler based in Waimea, and we're looking to hire 1-2 full-time painters to join our in-house team. This is not a subcontractor gig - this is a long-term opportunity to become part of something special.

Your Role:

You'll be our go-to person for:

• Coordinate with Project leads to determine schedule, product, and supply needs.
• Procuring appropriate paint supplies.
• Overseeing and participating in painting projects.
• Small-scale paint jobs that don't require a full painting crew
• Other minor handyman tasks related to these projects.

From base coats to final detail work, your touch will help bring our projects to life.

Why This Role Matters:

Larger painting scope will still be handled by our trade partners, but we need someone on-site, full-time, and dedicated to the prep work and finishing touches that keep our projects moving.. You'll work closely with our team to support daily progress, handle punch list items, and make sure nothing gets missed.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven years(3 or more) of solid painting experience.
• Ability to oversee painting team and quality control.
• Ability to work independently with a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, good communication and a team-first mentality.
• Someone dependable, timely and consistent, and proud of their craft.
• Someone with reliable transportation.
• Big Island resident or someone planning to settle here long-term who already has housing secured and transportation on island.
