We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Automotive Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, along with excellent leadership and customer service skills. This role requires a proactive approach to managing service operations, ensuring that all repairs and services are performed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and quality automotive repairs.
• Supervise service technicians and service advisors providing guidance on best practices. Arrange training to ensure technicians stay up to date on the latest technologies and procedures available.
• Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and ensure proper workflow within the shop.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a seamless service experience for customers.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and diagnostics to provide informed recommendations.
• Work with the Service Director and other service managers on a daily basis to maintain a steady flow of business and address any outstanding issues.

Skills

• Strong background in the automotive management field.
• Experience as a service advisor, shop foreman or service manager is needed.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and dealership personnel
• Strong leadership abilities to manage a team of technicians and advisors while fostering a positive work environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
