White Light Electric is looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in Sterling Heights, MI.
This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in commercial and industrial electrical construction — with direct mentorship, real ownership over your work, and a clear path to grow into a Senior Estimator or Project Manager role.
What you'll be doing:
- Performing electrical quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
- Assisting with labor and material pricing on active bids
- Coordinating supplier quotes and supporting bid preparation
- Learning estimating software - Trimble Accubid
- Working directly alongside experienced leadership from day one
We're looking for candidates from one of three backgrounds:
- Recent graduate in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice ready to transition into an office role
- Hands-on electrical field experience with strong computer skills
No prior estimating experience required. We provide full training.
