Experienced Overnight Newborn Care Specialist Needed
Location: Potomac, MD

Hours: Approximately 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 5 Nights Per Week
Duration: 2 months
A wonderful family in Potomac is seeking an experienced Overnight Newborn Care Specialist to support them as they welcome their third baby this fall. Having previously worked with overnight newborn professionals, the family understands the value of expert support and is hoping to find a calm, confident caregiver who can help make the newborn transition as smooth as possible.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive newborn experience, a nurturing and reassuring presence, and the ability to provide guidance while respecting the parents' preferences and parenting style. This family is specifically seeking someone who is knowledgeable and highly capable, yet calm, empathetic, and supportive in their approach. Responsibilities
⭐ Provide expert overnight care for a newborn infant
⭐ Support healthy sleep and feeding routines
⭐ Assist with bottle preparation and feeding as needed
⭐ Maintain detailed feeding, sleep, and care logs
⭐ Assist with nursery organization and infant-related tasks
Qualifications
⭐ Extensive professional and recent newborn care experience
⭐ Newborn Care Specialist certification strongly preferred
⭐ Excellent understanding of infant sleep, feeding, and development
⭐ Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents
⭐ Excellent professional references
⭐ Must be legal to work in the United States
Compensation
⭐ $35–$55/hour, depending on your experience and services.
⭐ You quote your own rate — families pay you directly.
