We’re looking for a personable, organized, and proactive Caregiver Engagement Coordinator to help strengthen and grow our caregiver community. This is a part-time, primarily remote position for someone based in the DMV who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and creating meaningful experiences.
Position Overview
The Caregiver Engagement Coordinator serves as the primary local ambassador for our caregiver community. This role focuses on caregiver engagement, recruiting support, community outreach, events, and ongoing relationship management. You’ll help create a positive caregiver experience—from first introduction through placement and beyond—while representing White House Nannies throughout the DMV.
This position combines remote administrative work with regular in-person attendance at networking events, trainings, recruiting initiatives, and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
Caregiver Engagement & Community Building
- Build authentic relationships with current and prospective caregivers.
- Serve as a welcoming, responsive point of contact for caregiver questions and support.
- Develop engagement initiatives that foster connection, community, and long-term retention.
- Conduct regular outreach to caregivers before, during, and after placements.
- Coordinate caregiver appreciation initiatives, networking opportunities, and social events.
- Gather caregiver feedback and share insights to continuously improve the caregiver experience.
Recruiting & Outreach
- Support caregiver recruiting efforts through community outreach and relationship building.
- Represent White House Nannies at job fairs, college recruiting events, childcare programs, and community organizations.
- Assist with candidate screening, interviewing, and follow-up communications.
- Promote White House Nannies through local partnerships and community engagement.
Onboarding & Administrative Support
- Assist with onboarding new caregivers and ensuring required documentation is complete.
- Support delivery of caregiver trainings and professional development events.
- Support recruiting and engagement reporting and other administrative projects.
Events & Brand Representation
- Plan and support caregiver events, trainings, appreciation programs, and networking opportunities.
- Coordinate event logistics and on-site execution.
- Represent White House Nannies professionally at community events and industry functions.
- Help strengthen White House Nannies’ presence throughout the DMV caregiver community.
Qualifications
- Based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia).
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, childcare, hospitality, education, or community engagement is preferred.
- Passion for building meaningful professional relationships and fostering community.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area for events, meetings, and community engagement activities.
- Evening and occasional weekend availability for caregiver events and recruiting activities.
Position Details
- Part-time (20–30 hours per week)
- Primarily remote with regular travel throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend events
- Hourly pay of $25–35, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to independently manage caregiver engagement initiatives
- Monthly transportation allowance provided to support local travel throughout the DMV
