Experienced Tree Climber / Arborist
White Horse Lawn & Tree — Plymouth, Massachusetts
White Horse Lawn & Tree is looking for an experienced tree climber to join our established tree care team.
We're particularly interested in climbers with strong skills in ornamental and structural pruning, technical tree removals involving cranes, or both.
You do not need to specialize in both areas to be considered. If you're an excellent climber with proven experience in either specialty, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Perform professional tree climbing, pruning, and removals.
- Carry out ornamental and structural pruning with attention to tree health, appearance, and proper technique.
- Participate in technical removals, including crane-assisted operations when appropriately experienced.
- Work with experienced crew members and modern tree care equipment.
- Help maintain high standards for jobsite safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Professional tree climbing experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience in ornamental pruning and/or technical tree removals.
- Strong understanding of safe climbing, rigging, and tree care practices.
- Ability to work effectively with a crew.
- Good judgment, reliability, and pride in quality workmanship.
Additional skills we'd value:
- Experience with crane-assisted tree removals.
- Advanced ornamental pruning skills.
- **Pesticide Applicators Liscense/Experience**
- ISA Arborist Certification.
- Crew leadership or mentoring experience.
- CDL.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on demonstrated experience and abilities.
