What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Manager position at White Hall Animal Clinic?
White Hall Animal Clinic has cared for pets and their families in Marion County since 2014. We are a busy, growing veterinary hospital offering everything from preventive care to orthopedic surgery, imaging, and endoscopy. We are now hiring our first Practice Manager to lead our team and keep the practice running smoothly.
ABOUT THE ROLE
MUST HAVE LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE. This is a non-clinical leadership position reporting directly to the practice owner. You will work alongside our Operations Manager, who oversees scheduling and client intake, and coordinate with our HR Manager on people matters.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and support our team: onboard and train new hires, coach and recognize staff, and address attendance and performance issues
- Maintain accurate personnel records and make sure every issue is followed through to resolution
- Manage inventory and ordering
- Process online pharmacy requests
- Oversee facilities and outside vendors
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2 years of experience supervising employees
- Strong organization, follow-through, and documentation skills
- Comfort with spreadsheets, shared documents, and learning new software
- Discretion with confidential information
- Veterinary or medical office experience preferred
SCHEDULE
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. No nights or weekends.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- $28.85 to $36.06 per hour (approximately $60,000 to $75,000 annually), based on experience

Benefits eligibility begins after a 90-day introductory period. Paid vacation and sick leave begin after 6 months of employment.
