Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling, management, and supervision, with expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Duties
- Supervise and support clinical staff in delivering effective behavioral therapy and mental health counseling.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide crisis intervention and management for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and EMR systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD, autism, addiction issues, and other mental health challenges.
- Oversee intake processes and case management activities to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Engage in ongoing data collection to evaluate treatment effectiveness and improve service outcomes.
- Mentor staff in best practices for home and community care, as well as pediatric care when applicable.
- Lead training sessions on relevant topics such as crisis management, applied behavior analysis, and social work principles.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in clinical counseling or psychotherapy within a behavioral health setting.
- Background in managing teams or supervising clinical staff is essential.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and working with diverse populations including children and families.
- Experience in home & community care settings as well as hospital environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation practices, and compliance standards is critical.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems for patient management is a plus.
