Position Overview
Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: None
Floating: May float to other emergency departments and ED Observation within the health system
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6
EMR: Epic
Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
Minimum Requirements
Active Connecticut RN License (or proof of application prior to submission)
Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
Candidates with 1.5 years may be considered if they have Level I Trauma or previous travel experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Level I Trauma experience required
Active BLS
Active ACLS
Active TNCC (TNS accepted as an equivalent)
PALS
NIHSS
CPI and ENPC preferred
