What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter position at White Glove Exotic Services?
White Glove Exotic Services is seeking a full-time Senior Porter to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level porter position—we're looking for a dependable, experienced, self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career with our company.
As part of our Porter Team, you'll support both our Service and Sales Departments by keeping our operation running smoothly. Every day is different, and you'll play a critical role in the overall success of our business.
Responsibilities include:
- Moving and staging customer and inventory vehicles throughout our 40,000 sq. ft. facility
- Loading, unloading, and organizing vehicles
- Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and other shop equipment (training available if needed)
- Opening and closing the facility
- General building maintenance, organization, and upkeep
- Running our tow truck for local vehicle pickups and deliveries
- Assisting with shop logistics and supporting technicians, service advisors, and the sales team
- Performing light detailing and vehicle preparation when needed
- Helping wherever needed to keep the shop operating efficiently
