Position Summary
The Therapy Supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, compliant, and effective therapy services in our homecare/school programs. This role is responsible for overseeing direct care providers, supporting workflow compliance, maintaining adherence to state licensing and contractual requirements, and serving as the primary resource for regulatory, clinical, and compliance matters. The Therapy Supervisor also plays a key role in onboarding and training new providers and may provide direct care services within the center as needed.
Key Responsibilities
The Therapy Supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, compliant, and effective therapy services in our homecare/school programs. This role is responsible for overseeing direct care providers, supporting workflow compliance, maintaining adherence to state licensing and contractual requirements, and serving as the primary resource for regulatory, clinical, and compliance matters. The Therapy Supervisor also plays a key role in onboarding and training new providers and may provide direct care services within the center as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support therapy staff to ensure safe, effective, and compliant service delivery.
- Work closely with operational staff to maintain workflows that meet:
- state licensing requirements
- contract-level compliance standards
- internal policies and procedures
- Establish, monitor, and reinforce quality standards for therapy services.
- Conduct periodic chart, documentation, and service reviews to ensure clinical quality and compliance.
- Serve as the go-to resource for regulatory, clinical, and compliance questions and concerns.
- Train, orient, and support new therapy providers and staff.
- Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to identify workflow improvements and support efficient service delivery.
- Provide direct care therapy services in the center as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure staff adherence to documentation expectations and deadlines.
- Support corrective action, follow-up, and performance improvement efforts when needed.
- Attend required trainings to learn DOE contract requirements
- Develop/Educate/train providers on DOE policies, documentation systems, and service responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure that services are provided in high quality fashion consistently advancing students' achievements as measure by IEP goals.
- On site supervision visits as required
- Licensed or credentialed therapy professional, as required by state and organizational standards.
- Experience in clinical supervision, regulatory compliance, or program leadership preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state licensing requirements and healthcare/therapy compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
- Ability to balance direct clinical care with supervisory and administrative responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a center-based therapy or clinical environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and performance improvement practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both clinical and operational teams.
- Problem-solving and workflow management skills
