Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations and upkeep of our country club facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining the clubhouse, dining areas, fitness center, locker rooms, pool areas, tennis courts, and other property structures to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Conduct inspections of buildings and equipment to identify issues
Repair or replace broken fixtures, appliances, and equipment
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
Perform preventative maintenance tasks
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed
Assist with general facility upkeep, including painting, carpentry, and minor construction
Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
cleaning of bathrooms and other areas
helping with setup and flip of banquet events
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial or residential property maintenance
Working Conditions:
May require standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs
May work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
On-call or after-hours work may be required
