The Corrections Staff Sergeant is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of corrections staff to ensure the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the facility. This role involves overseeing shift operations, managing shift coverage, and ensuring all actions uphold TCI minimum standards, federal statutes, and White County Sheriff's Office policies. The Staff Sergeant reports directly to the Corrections Lieutenants and follows directives set by the Lieutenants, Captains, Majors, or the Sheriff.
