ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

- Greets and assists office visitors; answers the telephone, provides information, and routes calls to the appropriate person
- Keeps files of all correspondence
- Responsible for maintaining petty cash
- Develops and keeps a variety of records of departmental activities
- Performs follow-up on a variety of items as required for efficient and effective operations
- Enter appropriate data into the computer system
- Receipt payments from customers
- Maintain confidentiality and communicate with tact and discretion
- Perform other general clerical tasks, such as typing documents, making and distributing copies, sending/receiving emails and faxes, processing incoming or preparing outgoing mail, performing basic maintenance of office equipment, and carrying out basic cleaning/housekeeping tasks associated with maintaining a work area
- Provide assistance or backup coverage to other employees as needed
