Hope Cottage seeks a committed, reliable person to fill a PRN Advocate position. This position assumes responsibility for an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and includes taking hotline calls, crisis counseling with residents, case management, and light data entry. Hours are as needed, so a flexible schedule is necessary. Applicants must have clean driving records and be 25 years old or older for insurance purposes. Job Duties:
Teaching classes, educating clients on many aspects of domestic violence, answering hotline calls, providing resources for out-of-shelter clients, providing crisis counseling with residents, case management, data entry, and offering support to clients.
MUST be dependable. Experience is preferred, but not necessary for the position.
