Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Deliver engaging product demos to inform customers about features and benefits
- Assist customers with inquiries using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Upsell products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves regularly
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling with precision and integrity
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and product replenishment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Conduct product demonstrations for customers interested in new or featured items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales goals
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or tobacco store settings is a plus
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and stock management
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are preferred to serve diverse customers
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory control techniques
- Experience in tobacco store environments is advantageous for understanding product placement and customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, making change, and managing sales reports
- Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or via digital communication platforms
- Ability to perform product demos effectively to educate customers about features and benefits
