The Janitor position is responsible for the timely and efficient care and cleaning of the employee welfare areas of the warehouse and office, as is required by the USDA, White Castle Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures. This includes but is not limited to the lunchroom, restrooms, locker rooms and coat storage areas. This position will attend to housekeeping duties of the lobby, office areas, laboratories, and all hallways leading to and from these areas. These areas are to be cleaned on a regular daily cleaning schedule as set forth by plant management. Proper inventory and supplies must be maintained for the use and comfort of building’s personnel.

What We Are Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred;
- A minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience and working knowledge of cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and offices;
- Must be able to comprehend and adhere to safety policies and procedures;
- Good communication skills and assertive in following directions.
- Clean and maintain employee welfare areas such as front office, DS offices, hallways, restrooms, lunchroom, shop room, warehouse and all meeting rooms;
- Collect and dump trash from building;
- Adequate inventories of supplies maintained for employee use;
- Stocking the front freezer with essentials for employee use and clean out fridge weekly from expired products;
- Cleaning of French fryer oil every 6 weeks;
- Pull weeds from asphalt, sweep up cigarette butts and salt on sidewalks as needed. Clean all windows inside and out when weather permits. Report on any repairs noticed;
- Clean parking lot, adjacent driveways, and street areas of trash and debris;
- Clean interior and exterior windows when weather permits;
- Special Projects as needed.
