Sales Assistant I Client Coordinator
Are you great with people, ridiculously organized. and used to working in a fast-paced environment where you're constantly juggling multiple things at once? We're looking for a Sales Assistant I Client Coordinator to work alongside one Of Our high-volume Sales Consultants at Dave White Chevrolet. This is NOT a traditional automotive sales position. In fact, previous car sales experience is not necessary or preferred. We're looking for someone with personality, hustle, organization, and great people skills. A successful bartender, server, hospitality professional, or experienced BDC representative could be an ideal fit.
What You'll Do:
You'll work directly alongside a high-volume Sales Consultant to help manage a growing customer base and create an exceptional experience from the first inquiry through delivery and beyond.
Daily responsibilities may include;
- Responding to customers by phone, text, email, and social media
- Following up with new and existing customers
- Making outbound calls and helping schedule appointments
- Confirming appointments and following up with missed appointments
- Managing customer follow-up and tasks within our CRM
- Keeping detailed and accurate customer notes
- Sending vehicle information, photos, videos. CARFAX reports, and inventory links
- Gathering trade-in information such as VIN, mileage, payoff, and photos
- Helping locate and prepare vehicles for appointments and test drives
- Coordinating with management, finance, service, and detail
- Assisting with sold vehicle and delivery preparation
- Helping customers with OnStar, MyChevrolet, and GM Rewards
- Sending post-sale follow-ups and review requests
- Following up with previous customers for birthdays, purchase anniversaries, referrals, and future vehicle needs
- Assisting with Facebook Marketplace inquiries and inventory activity daily
- Keeping the day organized when multiple customers, appointments, and deals are happening at once
- Marketing the associate and inventory
Who We're Looking For:
- LOVE talking to people and can build rapport quickly
- Have experience bar-tending, serving, working in hospitality, BDC or another fast-paced customer-facing position
- Can juggle 10 things at once without losing track Of the details
- Naturally work with a sense of urgency
- Are confident on the phone
- Communicate well through text and email
- Are organized and consistent with follow-up
- Are comfortable with computers and learning new technology
- Are dependable and punctual"

Experience:
Automotive sales experience is NOT required. We are especially interested in candidates with backgrounds such as:
- Bartending
- Serving
- Hospitality
- Automotive BDC
- Appointment setting
- Customer service
- High-volume reception/customer coordination
We can teach you the automotive side. We're looking for someone who already has the personality, work ethic, communication skills, and ability to hustle.
What This Position Is NOT:
This is not a position where you sit at a desk waiting for someone to give you your next task. It is also not a traditional commissioned floor-sales position. You'll be working alongside an established Sales Consultant and helping manage a high volume Of customers, appointments, follow-up, deliveries, and daily activity. The right person will become an important part of growing an already successful book Of business.
