- Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
- Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
- Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
- Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
- Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
- Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
- Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
- Follows company safety policy and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Generally has 2-5 years of experience.
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, auditing, or inventory reconciliation in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Proficiency using inventory management, ERP, or sales order systems (e.g., Oracle or similar software)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies accurately
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely; certification preferred
- Ability to analyze inventory data, maintain accurate records, and support inventory accuracy initiatives
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, product tracking, and inventory movement
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams
- Knowledge of construction or industrial products is a plus; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
