We are hiring immediately for a Counter Sales Associate!

Previous counter or inside sales experience preferred (not required)
Warm personality. Someone customers will enjoy speaking with in person and on the phone.
Good clear verbal and written communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Able to multitask counter sales, answering phone and completing assigned projects
Construction Supply Knowledge Preferred (not Required)
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required)
Coordinate with Warehouse Manager and Inventory Control Specialist to pull merchandise to restock showroom merchandise
Clean and organize showroom as needed
Able to reconcile day cash drawer
Support Branch Manager as needed
Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.

- Demonstrates exceptional customer service to our walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
- Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system and provides order information to customers. Pulls orders as required.
- Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
- Demonstrates knowledge of products and their applications (provides technical advice, troubleshoots, and helps resolve customers’ problems.)
- Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and informing customers of product promotions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
