White Box Roastery is a specialty coffee destination that blends craft, community, and creativity. We’re seeking a talented Content Creator to join our team part-time and help bring our story to life across social media.
You’ll be capturing the visual essence of our café, coffee, and customer experience through engaging photography, video content, and graphic design , primarily for Instagram and TikTok. This is an exciting opportunity to make a visible impact in a growing boutique coffee brand and to express your creative style through meaningful digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and produce original content including photos, short-form video (Reels/TikToks), and branded graphics.
- Develop and manage a consistent social media content calendar.
- Edit content for various formats (feed posts, stories, reels) optimized for engagement.
- Collaborate closely with ownership to align visuals with brand goals and campaigns.
- Stay on top of social trends, platform best practices, and content performance insights.
- Engage with our online community to reflect the tone and personality of White Box Roastery.
- Weekly meetings with head of marketing.
Qualifications
- Experience in content creation, social media marketing, or visual storytelling (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in photography/videography fundamentals, including editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, mobile video apps).
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with a good eye for lighting, composition, and brand alignment.
- Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok content styles and trends.
- Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and produce consistent, high-quality content.
- Comfortable working independently and occasionally on-site in a café environment.
- Passion for coffee culture and creative storytelling.
Position Details
- Part-time: 10–20 hours/week with a flexible schedule.
- Hybrid: On-site work required for shooting; editing can be done remotely.
- Compensation: Hourly; rate commensurate with experience.
