Job description:
White Birch Educational Services is a women and clinician-owned and operated agency in New Hampshire. We provide support to children through districts with school psychologists, mental health/social workers, board-certified behavior analysts, speech-language pathologists, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other related service providers.
We are currently seeking a full-time Paraprofessional to join an Elementary School in one of our district partners. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a highly supportive and collaborative team environment, dedicated to making a positive impact.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with the implementation of accommodation, modifications, and other supports in accordance with student Individual Education Plans (IEP).
- Support students with significant developmental disabilities throughout their school day.
- Students may be non-verbal and have behaviors and personal care needs.
- Collect progress data as directed by the student’s special education team.
- Work collaboratively with students’ classroom teachers and other faculty.
- Other duties deemed necessary by the school district as appropriate for the role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate and committed to students’ well-being.
