By evaluating latency, uptime, and bandwidth needs, the Sales Account Specialist designs scalable networks that future-proof operations.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Account Specialist
- Promote AT&T Business services by coordinating outreach campaigns and supporting initiatives for wireless, internet, and bundled solutions.
- Guide enrollment workflows by verifying eligibility, assisting with plan documentation, and coordinating activations and upgrades.
- Maintain CRM systems with accurate records of client activity, preferences, and account milestones to support retention and reporting.
- Monitor account performance to identify upsell opportunities and recommend service enhancements to clients aligned with business needs.
- Ensure compliance by reviewing applications, verifying documentation, and confirming adherence to AT&T Business protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow Sales Account Specialists to improve your skills in sales, support, and technical operations in order to better resolve challenges and deliver consistent client experiences.
Minimum Qualifications of the Sales Account Specialist
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in business, communications, or technology is preferred.
- Experience in account management, B2B sales, or client services—especially in telecom or subscription-based environments—is highly valued.
- Previous experience as a Sales Account Specialist is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain service options clearly and build trust with business clients.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools to ensure accurate logging, workflow efficiency, and campaign tracking.
