Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $40 hour
Dates of ESY: June 10, 2026 (Set Up) and June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 for (ESY Programming)
Work Days/Times: Proposed days: Mon-Fri per the ESY calendar; Proposed times: 7:15 am-11:15 am (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs)
Student Level: Secondary
Proposed Site: Transition Education Center (Formerly Hugo Elementary) (The final determination for the ESY site will be made closer to ESY programming).
Position Summary: The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking a Work Coordinator to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Student Support Services Administrators. Continuous oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional/Job Coaches - Student Support Services.
Education and /or Experience: Bachelor's degree with coursework in special education teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements:
- MN Teaching License in the area of Special Education or related services.
- Work Coordinator certificate.
- Experience working with secondary students is preferred.
- Experience working as a Work Coordinator, preferred.
- Experience working with White Bear Lake Area Schools cluster programs preferred.
- ESY Experience, preferred.
