Job Description


White Bark Property Management is seeking a reliable, experienced Snow Removal & Truck Operator to join our maintenance team serving properties throughout the Springvale, Sanford, and Kennebunk areas.

This is a part-time, year-round position with the primary responsibility of snow and ice removal during the winter months, and the potential for additional grounds, landscaping, and property maintenance support during the spring and summer.

The ideal candidate has previous experience operating a plow truck, loader, and other equipment, takes pride in doing the job safely and thoroughly, and can be counted on to respond when winter weather requires it. White Bark provides the truck and equipment needed for the job; applicants do not need to own their own plow or machinery.

This role is well suited for an experienced equipment operator or tradesperson looking for consistent part-time work with a local property management company and the potential for additional hours throughout the year.

What You’ll Do

• Operate White Bark trucks, snow plows, loaders, and other equipment to safely remove snow from parking areas, driveways, walkways, entrances, and other property areas. 
• Perform snow removal and de-icing during winter weather events, including salt and sand application as needed. 
• Monitor assigned properties during and after storms and address areas requiring additional attention. 
• Safely operate and care for company vehicles and equipment; report mechanical or maintenance issues promptly. 
• Communicate with maintenance staff and property managers regarding completed work, weather conditions, equipment issues, and property concerns. 
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations. 
• During warmer months, assist with landscaping, grounds maintenance, debris removal, and other property maintenance projects as needed. 

What You Bring

• Previous experience operating a snow plow truck and removing snow from residential, commercial, or multi-property sites. 
• Experience operating a loader, skid steer, tractor, or similar equipment. 
• Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and snow-removal practices. 
• Reliable and responsive, particularly during snow and ice events when timely attendance is essential. 
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and complete work thoroughly and safely. 
• Comfortable working early mornings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays when weather conditions require. 
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work. 
• Legally authorized to work in the United States. 
• Strong communication skills; landscaping, construction, or general property maintenance experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). 
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including snow, cold, wind, and ice. 
• Ability to work for extended periods during active snow events, including in cold and winter weather conditions. 
• Ability to safely perform physical snow-removal and grounds-maintenance tasks when required.
