White and Steele, P.C. has an immediate opening for a full-time litigation paralegal to join our well-established downtown firm that offers a friendly, inclusive and collaborative work environment. The position involves supporting several attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills, ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Candidate must be proficient in gathering, organizing and summarizing medical, employment, financial, and academic records.
- Experience in organizing and managing electronic and paper files is required.
- Experience billing time through electronic billing platform is preferred.
- Experience supporting attorneys in preparation for depositions and trial is required.
- Experience complying with Rules of Procedure in scheduling depositions, IME’s, mediation, and working with expert witnesses is important.
- A paralegal certificate or degree is preferred.
We offer a compensation package in the range of $60,000-$73,000, depending on experience, and a generous benefits package, including:
