Responsibilities
- Represent clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters in Virginia state court
- Handle all aspects of civil litigation from inception through resolution
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Develop case strategies through legal research and analysis
- Regularly appear in court and participate in hearings, motions, depositions, and trials
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to client service
- Meet billable hour expectations in line with firm standards

Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience required
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently
- Strong analytical, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
