SUMMARY:

This position installs gutter systems safely and efficiently on residential and light commercial job sites. This position emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to company standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install gutters, downspouts, and components per specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately.
• Load, transport, and unload materials.
• Ensure proper pitch, alignment, and secure fastening.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites.
• Follow instructions and communicate with team members and supervisors.
• Identify and report safety hazards or job issues.
• Verify measurements and final work before leaving job site
• Ability to ensure watertight, properly sloped installations.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety policies and strict adherence to the use of personal protective equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds, 75lbs occasionally.
• The ability to bend and twist in awkward positions and reach and lift overhead.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.
• Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and outdoor conditions.
• Basic reading, writing comprehension and math skills required.
• Able to learn quickly and work independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Gutter installation, roofing, or general construction.
• Familiarity with tools and building materials.
• Experience working on ladders and elevated surfaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position works in various settings, with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely climbs, lifts, reaches and uses tools to complete installtions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; reach; climb; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
