Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Assist with menu planning to ensure variety and nutritional balance
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all food handling processes
- Execute food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, plating, and garnishing
- Support catering events by preparing and serving food in a timely manner
- Ensure proper knife skills are utilized for efficient and safe food processing
- Serve guests with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and presentation
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation for kitchen supplies and ingredients
Experience
- Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
- Experience in fine dining, restaurant service, or food industry roles is highly desirable
- Background in culinary arts, including food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards
- Skills in menu planning, catering, and serving are advantageous
- Proficiency with knife skills and general kitchen operations is essential
- Previous experience working in kitchens or culinary settings demonstrates capability to meet the demands of this role
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
